| Yeah, I'm definitely not doing this often enough:
Friday (28 March): wrist curls with 10 lbs: 3 x 30 each hand (alternating) fish flops: 30, 50, 70, 50, 50 each side (alternating)
Wednesday (26 March): wrist curls with 10 lbs: 4 x 20 each hand, maybe? pike press to handstand (from stand): between 10 and 15 Tabata step ups right leg: 16, 16, 16, 17, 17, 17, 16, 15 (score: 15) Tabata step ups left leg: 18, 19, 18, 16, 14, 14, 16, 16 (score: 14)
Friday (21 March): 4 sets, alternating, of: 20 arm things with 15 lbs (down, shoulder, up, shoulder, down, etc.) 50 tuck-ups
I was originally going to do a pirouette in between pressing up and down from the handstands, but I ended up not doing so because I probably would have squished one of the cats, who insisted on milling about.
I'm hoping the wrist exercises will strengthen whatever muscles, ligaments or tendons it was that were giving me trouble whenever I tried to tumble last year.
On the step ups, I lifted the back leg as high as it would go on each one, so it worked my lower back muscles really well, in addition to my legs. I though I would do way worse on the left leg since I did it second, but was surprised that didn't turn out to be the case.

| squats: 22, 21, 21, 21, 19, 19, 18, 18 (score: 18) push-ups: 20, 18, 14, 9, 8, 8, 8, 7 (score: 7) | |

| squats: 22, 21, 21, 20, 18, 19, 19, 19 (score: 18) push-ups: 20, 20, 11, 9, 8, 7, 7, 6 (score: 6)
I think I had my best form yet on the squats. My knees got a little sore, though. I was trying so hard to fit a seventh push-up into the last set, but I couldn't quite make it all the way up before time was called.

| First I had a marathon midterm (untimed -- I spent ~20 hours on it), then my dad was visiting, then I didn't want my legs to be jelly for our ski trip last weekend. So yeah, I lapsed a bit.
Squats: 20, 20, 20, 18, 19, 16, 16, 17 (score: 16) Push-ups: 21, 19, 11, 9, 8, 8, 6, 6 (score: 6)

| I tried again last night, and did slightly worse than last time:
squats: 18,18, 17, 18, 18, 17, 18, 17 (score: 17) push-ups: 20, 17, 10, 8, 7, 7, 6, 6 (score: 6)
I was trying to improve my form on the squats, but I always have good push-up form, so there's no excuse there.
Then this morning, I tried tuck-ups: 22, 21, 20, 20, 19, 16, 16, 14 (score: 14)
Not too shabby, I think.

| On Tuesday, inspired by faustin, I tried Tabata squats, followed by Tabata push-ups. squats: 18, 20, 20, 20, 20, 22, 17, 17 (score: 17) push-ups: 22, 20, 10, 9, 7, 7, 7, 7 (score: 7) I haven't fatigued any of my muscles like that in a LONG time. In the shower afterwards, my arms weren't too hot on the whole hair-washing process. "What more do you want of us?" they asked. Skating to campus made my legs react similarly. Both sets of muscles are still sore, but they seem to be fully functional again. | |
